FIRST SAIL!

I am happy to announce the First Thailand built Lightning was launched and sailed several hours ago at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club on this Sunday 14 December.

Be advised that 4 bottles of champange was consumed by the club members with 1 finding its way to the beautiful bow of the Lightning.

The boat sailed like a champion and the club members were totally astonished. Even the Germans expats were impressed with the woodwork and want to ship this boat back to their home land.

Olin Stephens would be proud!

This is an invitation for Bill to come out of the cold - - fly to warm Thailand and sail a new classic wooden lightning in Thailand.

Love it - - so I is now sailing a square boat!!
