Winds on Saturday were first from the
north, then the south, then east, then west, then north again, never
more than 8 MPH and usually 0 - 5. It took all afternoon
to get in one race on the upper course, although we had a nice
spinnaker ride home under a northerly breeze.
Winds on Sunday were better,
northeasterly at 7 - 9 MPH, not enough to heel the boats, but enough
to move them. With a high of 82 degrees under sunny skies it
was nice on the water, but hot once we got back to the marina.
The tide was outgoing for both race
days.
