1972 Allen built Lightning class sailboat with trailer. Recently painted fiberglass hull with no major issues, minor spider cracks on deck (typical for age). Trailer is in good condition. Inventory includes: 3 lifejackets; 2 full sets of sails (1 racing, 1 day sailing) including spinnakers; 2 wooden/poly rudders; light and heavy air lines; cover 18 months old; paddle; anchor; spinnaker pole; hand pump. I put some time and money in her when I got her, I would sail her, but I just keep running out of time. My loss is your gain. Slip can be transferred to new owner. There is a healthy fleet of Lightnings that race and fun sail out of the marina and I will be happy to make introductions if desired.

Price Slashed!
$400, OBO -- Seller is motivated! 1948 wooden Lightning with a fiberglassed hull.
Hull is dark green, interior is varnished mahogany, and mast is
painted red.
The boat was fully restored 10 years ago and has been kept up
throughout the last ten years. Mast needs painting and there is some
small fiberglass patching needs with the hull.
The boat comes with an old mainsail, which is in fair to poor
condition, and a jib, which is in good condition. The cover is four years old and was custom made for the boat.
Trailer, which is enough to get it in and out of the Potomac, is
included.
Asking $400, but very negotiable, I would like to see it sold to
someone who will give it the care I have, it is a very fine old
Lightning.
A beautiful boat that always turns heads and receives many
compliments.
