2015 - World Championships (North American Venue Rotation)
If your organization is interested in hosting any of these events, please contact the Class Office at office@lightningclass.org, Todd Johnson, VP North Americans at tjohnson@natadvisors.com or David Starck, VP Worlds at dlstarck@aol.com. To date formal bids have been received by the Buffalo Canoe Club for the 2014 Youth Worlds and 2015 Worlds, Mission Bay YC for the 2014 North Americans and Sail Sheboygan/Sheboygan YC for the 2014 North Americans.
Bids for the Championships (not including the 2014 NA’s) will be accepted until October 31, 2011. Bid deadline for the 2014 North American Championship's is 8/1/2012.

The next meeting of the Governing Board of the International Lightning Class Association will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 9:00am in the St Petersburg Yacht Club, Quarterdeck Room at the Winter Championship Regatta.
The Annual Meeting of the International Lightning Class Association will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 6:00pm in the Ballroom of the St Petersburg Yacht Club during the Winter Championship Regatta.
