June 26 Update:
The Carolina Yacht Club has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 SAYRA Regatta Open scheduled for August 1-2, 2020. North Carolina has extended Phase 2 for an additional three weeks as COVID-19 cases have continued to increase across the state and New Hanover County.The health of the competitors, volunteers, race officials, CYC members, staff and our community is our greatest priority. This is a highlight of the CYC sailing year and we will miss the high level of competition this regatta brings. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021.
April 13 Update: The folks in Wrightsville Beach have changed the date of the Lightning SE District Championship, originally scheduled for May 30-31. The Districts will now be part of their open SAYRA regatta on August 1-2.
