Date Change - Amethyst Weekend Regatta

Date changed back to Aug 20/21 to increase local participation
A unique sailing regatta racing out of Amethyst Harbour around some of the closer islands. Also, this year for the first time, an optional Friday noon sail to Caribou Island for a picnic. We've raced around Caribou Island for years but many of us have never set foot on this pristine island.
Saturday is slated for 2 races, passing Palette Island, Seagull (Buck) Island and Temple Reef all to port. Sunday the single race is around Caribou Island.
Saturday night the Bailey's host a bar-b-que and will make sure the sauna is really hot. Bring your bather. For an introduction to sailing on Lake Superior, you could not find a nicer place to start. And the local fleet is very competitive to boot!
