The sailing advisory committee has determined that the event will be sailed on Great Egg Harbor Bay (Kennedy Park), and racing will not be offshore.

The entry fee is $125USD. A late fee of $20USD will be charged for payments received after June
20, 2023.
Entry includes:
• Awards and Prizes
• Full guest privileges at the club, including on site dining
• Arrival refreshments June 23
• Light breakfast and after race refreshments on June 24 & 25
• Entertainment Saturday night June 24th (Dinner available: $40 per person at the time of
Registration or $50 at the door)

Boxed lunches are available for purchase at $10 per person per day. Lunches must be
pre-ordered at the time of Registration or ordered prior to noon, Tuesday, June 20th

Friday, June 23rd
09:00 Arrival Accepted

Visiting Boats to be parked at the end of Battersea on the West side of Bay
Avenue. Please make sure that access to the crane is provided to
accommodate Friday night Club races.

17:00 to 19:00 Registration and Measurement
19:00 Dinner available at Club for Purchase (a-la-carte), Reservations required, very
limited availability, email: shieldsrc3@gmail.com by noon, Monday, June 19.
(include “CAD Dinner Friday” in the subject)

Saturday, June 24th:
07:30-09:00 Check-In, Late Registration, Measurement and Light Breakfast
09:00 Competitors’ Meeting
10:00 Harbor Gun & Tow Leaves
11:30 First Warning Signal
18:30 Dinner available for purchase at a cost of $40 per person at the time of
Registration (last step in the online registration process). Reservations are
required after Registration at a cost of $50 per person, email:
chappyhopkin@gmail.com by noon, Tuesday, June 20th (include “CAD Dinner
Saturday” in the subject). Entertainment after dinner is included for all
registrants.

Sunday, July 25th

15:00 No Warning Signal After this time Awards following racing at the Yacht Club
Housing
A number of OCYC members have graciously offer to open their homes to accommodate visiting
crews. Requests are subject to availability and will be accommodated on a first come first served
basis.

All competitors must be current Lightning Class Members, including crew. Please be sure you and your crew are current members before you arrive for the weekend.
