From: International Lightning Class Association

Lightning Friends:

As part of our 2025 Fundraising Campaign, we've created TWO great opportunities to win:

  • a virtual and in-person 50-50 Raffle to benefit the ILCA Fund (promoting programs to support the sport of Lightning Class sailing such as the Boat Grant Program, International Fleet Development, Lightning Labs and so many more!)

  • a virtual and in-person raffle of a Vakaros Atlas Edge smart compass, Class legal when used as a compass and timer, providing exceptional visibility.  All proceeds go to the ILCA Fund.

Both drawings will be held at the North American's banquet on Saturday, Sept. 27. You do NOT have to present to win, so join the fun whether you will be there or not - but we hope you're joining us!

Tickets for the 50-50 Raffle are $20 each, or 3 for $50. The winner gets 50% of the money raised, with the remainder going to the ILCA Fund. For those attending the NA's banquet, tickets will be sold at the event. You need not be present to win, and in fact the winner of the recent WJM 50-50 was an online purchaser! Purchase 50/50 Tickets

Tickets for the Vakaros Atlas Edge smart compass (retail value $749) are $30 each, or 2 for $50. Only 100 tickets will be sold, so you have an excellent chance to win! On the water, the Atlas Edge is Class legal as a compass and timer, and provides excellent visibility for everyone on board. Off the water, it can give a wealth of information such as velocity, heading, and heel. Tickets may be sold live at the banquet, but only up to a total of 100 tickets. Again, you need not be present to win. Purchase Vakaros Edge Tickets

So don't delay - purchase your tickets now and help support the Lightning Class!
