I am really sad to have to do this, but FYC is going to have to cancel our Lightning Regatta for Sunday August 18th due to the high water. Our fleet has yet been able to race as the water levels have submerged our launch area on most days and it just isn’t safe to use. I had hoped the water would have gone down by now, but as you know it hasn’t. We plan to try and have some upgrades put in so we can resume sailing if the water is high next year and will still plan to have our district event for next year as well. If you can let the district know that the event is canceled for this year it would be greatly appreciated. 

We still plan to have our big boat race on Saturday August 17th and the party is always great. If anyone has a PHRF boat we would love  to welcome them to race on Saturday.
