LAST Country Qualifying Event for the 2023 Pan Am Games! 
2 Boats/Countries will qualify at this event. 
 
Teams must sail in the MIXED Configuration - the 3-person crew must be comprised of 1 Male and 2 Females hailing from the same country to qualify. In addition at least 3 Countries need to sail in the Mixed Configuration to qualify the event as a qualifier. To date ARG, BRA, ECU, PER, USA and Host Country CHI have qualified for the Santiago 2023 Panam Games which will be held October 25 – November 5, 2023. The Sailing Events will be held in Algarrobo at the Cofradia Nautica del Pacifico. This is approximately 105 km west of Santiago, Chile.

Sailing World Helly Hansen Regatta - February 17-19, 2023 - St Petersburg, FL
Last stop of the Florida Winter Series. Plans can be arranged to leave your boat in St Pete between the Feb and March Regattas. Contact Laura in the Class Office for more information. Be sure to complete your registration (including payment) by January 25th. New and incomplete entries after January 25 will increase by $75, this includes unpaid entries. Expecting 20+ boats, 15 are already registered. 
 
Winter Championships - March 18-22, 2023 - St Petersburg, FL
First Regatta of the Southern Circuit Series. Don't miss out on all the fun and great sailing! We are working on plans for the Mentor Program and the Annual "Dock" Party will be on Monday March 20th. Get your TEAM together and SIGN UP TODAY! If you want to sail but don't have a boat, or if you are looking for crew, sign up on the Crew Board
 
Deep South Regatta - March 23-25, 2023 - Savannah, GA*
Final Regatta of the Southern Circuit. Don't miss the OYSTER ROAST and famous SYC Chicken Wings! We will also have a great Rules Seminar on Thursday evening with Jerry Thompson. If you want to sail but don't have a boat check out the Crew Board 
 
 

 Hands On Workshop: Re-Canvas A Deck
March 31- April 2, 2023
Come join use for a hands on workshop where we plan to re-canvas the decks on four classic / wood Lightning Class Sailboats, in the workshops of the Finger Lakes Boating Museum (FLBM) in Hammondsport NY.  Class group size is limited so sign up soon.  More Information and link to Application

This is a feeder regatta to the Canadian National Championships to be held at the Kitsilano Yacht Club July 8 and 9, 2023. Two regattas are better than one, come and join us.

Amethyst Harbour, 20 miles east of Thunder Bay, on Lake Superior, is about as pretty a setting for a sailing weekend as anywhere on Lake Superior. The races are around local islands with Saturday's two races around closer islands and Sunday's single race around Caribou Island. All are stunning and Caribou's cliff's add real drama to the race.
