October 13 - 2025 BOAT GRANT RECIPIENTS WIN THE 2ND ANNUAL U32 INVITATIONAL! Congratulations to Will Murray, Heather Kerns, and Lucas Goodin, winners of the 2025 U32 Regatta with an impressive 5 points, taking three out of four races. In second place, Timmy Crann, sailing with Lauren and Allie Jones, finished with 17 points. Jenna Probst, Elizabeth Starck, and Paula Herman secured third place with 21 points. It was a fantastic turnout and a day of highly competitive racing at this year’s event in Metedeconk!
October 10 - As we prepare for the 2nd annual U32 Invitational regatta at Metedeconk River YC this weekend, I was reminded how important building new boats will be for the class to grow and enjoy prosperity. Current owners with 5–15 year-old boats are ready to order new ones, and those boats become available not only to the U32 buyers, but also to current boat owners looking to upgrade. October 6 - North American’s 50-50 & Vakaros Raffle Winners! Congratulations to on-line purchasers Alan McReynolds of Naples, NY for winning the Vakaros Compass and Jeremiah Pierson of Bath, PA for winning the 50/50. We are excited to announce that $2,570 was raised in the Vakaros raffle and $1,730 in the 50/50 for a total of $4,300 to benefit the ILCA Fund! Thank you to all who participated!
September 13-14 - SIX events in the Lightning Class took place 9/13-14 in the Lightning Class! Santiago Uzcategui, Jochen Raute, and Jorge H. took home first place in the Colombia District Championship with 16 points. Finishing in second, with 17 points were Julian Ramirez and Adriana R.
