Initiative Description: The Limbaugh Fund is designated to support the education, training, and the promotion of Junior sailing. Uses of these funds have included support for the Youth World Championships, grants for junior programs, funding Junior racing clinics and trophies. The Limbaugh Fund has also taken ownership of the Fuel The Flash 2030 initiative to promote Local Boat Grant programs.

This Quarter:

• Created the Local Boat Grant Playbook design to be an overview and guide to setting up a Local Boat Grant program including boat acquisition, program operations, sustainability, helpful tips, and resources - based on individual interviews with 10+ yacht clubs with successful programs
• Distributed Playbook through website, social media, and outreach to high potential yacht club candidates
• Set up Limbaugh Fund Request Form to increase visibility in support available and to streamline the request/approval process
• Allocated $4,200 in funding YTD supporting Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Local Boat Grant development and Youth Worlds grants to support the inaugural appearances of two countries (Latvia and Lithuania)

Next Quarter:

• Promote Playbook at WJMs and NAs and hold small workshop to continue idea sharing and building on collection of resources
• Continue outreach and review of fund requests with a target of making a significant impact in 2026 pending demand
• Plan web series covering fleet development and local boat grant programs to support interested clubs
