Youngest Competitor 2018 WJMs
From the President: Todd Wake
Wake posted some thoughts in the President's Blog over the last few weeks. Please Click on the Blog Link to read the full messages.
It has been a very busy summer for the Lightning Class. In brief summary, the membership stepped up and participated and the host Fleets and Clubs stepped up and put on first class events. 80 Years of Lightning Sailing is looking good right now - thank you for helping us to get to this point and thank you for your continued help in getting us to another 80!

Safety Equipment Notice

Chief Measurer, Bill Cabrall
ILCA Safety Equipment Rules
Questions have arisen concerning class safety rules, and what equipment must be carried on the boat when racing. In order to clarify this issue, I have looked through our class rules as currently posted on the ILCA website. Provisions concerning safety equipment are contained in several places in our class rules and by-laws. The rules below are copied directly from the official versions on the ILCA website. See the full NEWS POST for the complete summary of Safety Equipment and narrative.
